"Gul" a short film by Adnan Hussain

"Gul" is a short animated film I finished earlier this month. I am currently sending it out to film festivals and hope to start screening it in September around the world.

Synopsis:
A painterly tale set in an industrialized wasteland, Gul is a young girl caught in an abusive struggle between survival and compassion. A mother's final breath pushes her to relive the past and stumble forth to determine her future.

This film uses computer graphics to create a painted look. It was scored with traditional Sindhi Jogi folk music and a rich layer of sound design to breath life into a wordless, raw and visually rich story of youth, innocence, greed and claiming the future.

Thanks Dimplegal, the clip you saw is actually only a 30 second trailer for the 9 minute film which is complete and is currently being sent to film festivals. I used 3DS Max, Photoshop, Painter, Digital Fusion and Premiere.

its very interesting and concept is very good, you certainly have alot of experience in visual effects to execute such a rich visual story
